We spoke with The Love Coach about why loving yourself is actually a key foundation to being able to love someone else.

Something I frequently witness is a tendency for women to love others more than we love ourselves. The concept of self love can actually be an elusive concept to put into practice. Love itself is something that is as basic a human need as eating and drinking.

For many women, their search for love happens outside of themselves. Whilst dating they believe if they could just find the right partner, then they would feel love. Once in a relationship some believe that it is their partner’s job to make them feel loved, leading to stolen dreams, broken promises and shattered expectations.
